Each portrait is done in the finest quality soft pastels on archival paper and is not sprayed with fixative in order to preserve its color and textural brilliance for many years to come. Pastels must be framed under glass with a mat or spacer to separate the surface of the art from the glass.
The following prices are for a head portrait of one animal in the most popular sizes.
Customized portraits can include: multiple subjects, full-body poses, other sizes, and simple or specialized backgrounds.

To commission a portrait:
Fill out the form on the contact page. In the message box, let me know what you are looking for, and include any questions you may have. I will be in contact with you within 24 hours. We will then determine how to proceed. A 25% non-refundable deposit grants you a space in my schedule.
You can send me clear photos by email or, if you are in the Tucson area, make an appointment for me to take photos at no extra charge. I like to work from several photos, with one designated as the pose, and the others providing me with more information, so that I can make the very best likeness of your special animal, as well as capture his or her personality.
Upon completion of the portrait, I will send you a photo by email. Balance is due upon the work’s completion.
